“Thank you so much for all your hard work last week. We had such an incredible day and evening. It’s So important when it’s such an intimate wedding that the people you choose to work with you/be a part of it, are the right people and enjoy as care about what they do and the people they are there for. And we certainly felt that with you, and with James, everyone at the heritage house, and Joe who player the guitar for us. You all made it very special for us.” ~the bride
Mendocino is an incredible place to get married. And if the BIG wedding isn’t your thing, it is an especially amazing location for an elopement. It is a destination with everything you could ask for in a romantic experience. Yes we have great restaurants and world class vineyards, but it’s the lush forests, virgin beaches, rocky cliff sides, and grassy headlands teaming with wildflowers that sets us a part.
Andy and Kelly’s ceremony took place at the Heritage House gazebo offering a nearly 360 degree coastal view. And James Sibbet, as always, gave a genuinely loving and heartfelt ceremony.
I really love the easy intimacy of photographing elopements. After capturing the ceremony, I take the happy couple on a walk and together we discover and create pictures that depict their love and relationship.
Andy and Kelly are a fun loving pair! Post ceremony we headed over to Jug Handle Beach State Park. Kelly was such a good sport hiking around in her stunning golden heels.
It’s always a discovery process, exploring the surrounding environment while the happy couple holds hands, helping one another along. And of course there’s lots of embraces and kisses.
