Yewie and Meghan had a story book wedding. Nestled in the deep woods of the Mendocino Woodlands, 20 minutes due east from the Village, they celebrated by having their best friends and family cabin camp for the weekend with them. The campsite sprawls through old growth redwoods, a swimming hole, and log barns.
It takes a special girl to be this gorgeous while roughing it in the woods. That and the uber talents that are Marianell Brey of M Salon, and Danielle Frey of Bloom Beauty. And can you believe the peonies in Meghan’s bouquet! Another masterpiece by Rosa of LR Farms!
The ceremony took place in a meadow, encircled by giant redwoods. Miles in to the sunbelt, they were bathed in warm sunlight as they exchanged their self written vows. At one point both Yewie and Meghan were simultaneously wiping away tears followed by gentle laughter. Even I started to well up.
There has to be a picture of Yewie’s truck. Watching Meghan leap in and out of the truck bed in her amazing mermaid cut gown was seriously impressive. And she never complained or fretted all day, just a go with the flow kinda bride. Awesomeness.

Such a laid back reception filled with not fussy but personal details like a desert table heaped full of confections and pastries of every taste, set on a large wooden table beneath twinkle lights. They glided past the table as they went into their first dance. The reception was seamlessly coordinated by Zoe Braga.
