Getting married in Mendocino is unlike any other wedding experience. As a photographer lucky enough to live and work here, I capture each Mendocino love story with an eye towards not just crafting pretty pictures, but photographs that capture all the beauty and adventure that a Mendocino wedding offers. My unique perspective as a local photographer gives me keen understanding of the changing light and landscape, as well as knowing all the secret spaces only locals know of; little wooded paths that wind through the trees opening up to a secluded beach, old-growth redwood groves with a pristine swimming hole, horseback rides down a cliffside pathway to a long sandy beach. There are so many possibilities.

Little known fact about me, I'm obsessed with learning. I'm always up for the opportunity to do something new. And, I try to find new angles on the things I do regularly. I hate status quo. There is always room to grow. I'm never done pursuing more. I push through boundaries. Don't let all that intensity mislead you though, I'm very laid back. I believe in taking time, and paying attention to the little things. I'm a sucker for weird indie movies, good wine, and meaningful conversation with friends.

"Cassandra was lovely to work with for our engagement shoot and wedding day photos. Wonderful to work with a local for our Mendocino wedding: she knew the venue, how to best work with the weather and lighting, and great coastal settings for additional shoots.
She made us comfortable, took the time to understand us and the type of photos we wanted during an engagement shoot a couple weeks before the wedding. She made great suggestions for the wedding day schedule, and did an excellent job corralling our massive family for portraits, capturing candid moments and fun details, and styling beautiful shots of the bride and groom.
She sent a gorgeous set of preview photos a week after the wedding, and the full set of edited images just over 3 months later. Our only regret was not booking her for another hour after sunset to capture more of the candid debauchery!"
