A world traveler, fortunate enough to have made the whole world my workplace. I am an artist lucky enough to make a living from my art. I'm a mother blessed with three amazing children that are growing as strong, and as beautiful as California wild flowers. I'm a woman sharing this amazing life with my best friend, my husband.
My experience as fine art photographer in San Francisco, a graphic designer to Hollywood Studios, and an advertising art director at Young&Rubicam in NYC has provided me the tools to creatively capture your wedding day, and elevate your pictures into gallery quality, fine art pieces.
PHOTO STYLE
I have a low-key approach that allows the story unfold organically; emotive, natural-light portraiture, honest, candid documentary, and images that highlight the experience.
FAVORITE PART OF A WEDDING DAY
The in-between moments when the couple and their people don't feel compelled to perform for the photographer, or even notice I'm there; the real feelings, and happenings are there for me to witness and capture creatively and honestly.
HOME TOWN
I call a tiny artists' village, on the coast in Northern California home. Mendocino is found out a windy road, past the vineyards, through the redwoods along the riverside, and perched on the rocky coastal cliffside.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?
My approach is documentary, and my style is fine art. My background as a fine art photographer, and graphic designer/art director colors every picture I make, but ultimately I strive for creative, honest story telling.

Each photo session is different. I am as adept at following your lead, or giving direction. Ultimately, I strive to make it fun for you so you feel free to be yourselves.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS?
My favorite part of capturing a wedding is knowing that the art I'm creating with you will be cherished and shared for generations. As an artist there is no higher goal.
WHAT INSPIRES YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY?
I draw inspiration from my favorite artists across all mediums; photographers, painters, sculptors, film makers, musicians, and writers. A handful of my current obsessions are Frida Kahlo, Henri Catier-Bresson, Rene Magritte, Degas, Jean Pierre Jeunet, Maxfield Parish, The White Stripes, and Picasso.
